Romantic French Fabrics - Champagne Neutrals

Thursday, June 16, 2011

This is the fourth in my series of posts about fabulous fabrics for French style interiors. In this post elegant, sophisticated neutral shades are depicted, with the palest ivory, richest clotted cream through to divine taupe; in decadent silks, lavish embroidery and softly textured linens.

Just a note: I have compiled these fabric combinations working from images online so please forgive me if in reality they don't work as well together! Most shops are happy to provide swatches.

Also I do hope that my Italian friends will not be offended by my featuring the Hotel Borgo Santo Pietro in a post about French style. The hotel is so divine I just had to include it!
