Darling Buds

Thursday, March 1, 2012

With the gentle sunshine warming the earth the early blooms peak through showing hints of the colours to come. A fresh new colour palette heralds the arrival of Spring. Tiny splashes of deepest raspberry set against snowy white and soft palest blossom pinks are crisp and refreshing against the new stems and branches. Here are a few ideas for bringing Spring into the home.

Christmas is coming!

Thursday, November 24, 2011

I'll soon be decking the halls with creamy white roses, frosted snowberries, mercury silver, fresh pine, bay leaves, holly and candles. The table will be set with crisp linens, polished vintage silver, gleaming crystal and fresh sprigs of herbs. With the smell of woodsmoke and crackle of the fire I'll be wishing for snow again this Christmas! Here are a few of my favourite finds and Christmas inspiration.

Romantic & Feminine Bathrooms

Thursday, June 30, 2011

Inspired by Provencal farmhouses, English country houses and villas in Tuscany, these are some of my favourite romantic bathrooms. All unashamedly feminine in shades of the palest lilac, Palma violet, shimmering silver to blush rose and robin's egg blue. Blissful rooms to luxuriate and pamper!
